Maryland man sentenced to 7 years for firearm possession tied to drug trafficking

MARYLAND (WBFF) — A 32-year-old Maryland man will spend years in federal prison after authorities said he carried a gun to support drug trafficking in West Baltimore, according to the Maryland U.S. Attorney’s Office.

U.S. District Court Judge Ellen L. Hollander sentenced Keith Cook to seven years in federal prison, followed by five years of supervised release, for possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
