MARYLAND (WBFF) — Three men from Maryland and California have been charged in a cross-country drug trafficking conspiracy that investigators say moved large amounts of methamphetamine from the West Coast to Maryland, according to the Maryland U.S. Attorney’s Office.
A superseding indictment charges Samir Footman, 38, of Halethorpe; Kenny Guyton, 44, of Glen Burnie; and Marcus McDaniel, 45, of Stockton, California, with conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute controlled substances. Footman is also charged with firearm trafficking and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
The co-conspirators possessed with the intent to distribute nearly six kilograms of pure crystal methamphetamine and about 10 kilograms of methamphetamine pills, according to the indictment. Authorities also say Footman sold a firearm as part of his role in the conspiracy…
