One person flown to trauma center after crash shuts down Route 24 in Edgewood

EDGEWOOD, Md. — One person was seriously injured and flown to a trauma center Tuesday morning following a single-car crash that forced the full closure of Route 24 in Harford County, emergency officials said.

First responders with the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company and paramedics from the Harford County Department of Emergency Services were dispatched shortly before 8 a.m. to Route 24, just south of Trimble Road in Edgewood, for a reported motor vehicle collision.
