Motorcyclist Flown To Shock Trauma After High-Speed Collision In Severn

SEVERN, Md. — A 25-year-old Severn man was flown to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center with life-threatening injuries Wednesday night after his motorcycle struck an SUV on Annapolis Road.

Emergency personnel and Anne Arundel County Police Western District officers responded around 9:30 p.m. Sept. 16, 2026, to Annapolis Road and Parkside Boulevard for a crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle.

Police said the preliminary investigation found the motorcycle was traveling east on Annapolis Road at a high rate of speed when it struck a 2016 Ford Escape that was turning left into the Dunkin’ Donuts in the 2700 block of Annapolis Road…
