Baltimore City Sues RentCafe, Property Manager Over Alleged Hidden Rent Fees

Baltimore City is taking legal action against the companies behind RentCafe and a local property management company, accusing them of charging renters hidden fees simply to pay their monthly rent.

The lawsuit names Yardi Systems LLC, RentCafe LLC and Pennrose Management Company LLC. According to city officials, Pennrose manages hundreds of rental units serving lower-income residents across Baltimore, WMAR reports.
