Ravens QB Lamar Jackson has a simple reason why he will not watch Super Bowl 58

Over 100 million people are expected to tune in to watch Super Bowl 58 on Sunday, but Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson will not be among such viewers.

The Ravens came up a game short of clinching a spot in the Super Bowl. They seemed destined to pull off a run to the Super Bowl for the first time since the 2012 season, but the Kansas City Chiefs wound up playing the role of spoiler thanks to a 17-10 win in last month’s AFC title game.

Jackson was asked by the NFL Network’s Taylor Bisciotti after the 13th annual “NFL Honors” awards show on whether he will catch this year’s Super Bowl. He shared exactly why he does not plan to sit down and watch the biggest game in the sport.

“Too raw, I’m good,” Jackson said. “I don’t wanna watch the game.”

It sure is easy to understand just where Jackson is coming from, as he is still not over Baltimore’s disappointing finish to the 2023 season.

As with the Chiefs, the Ravens are expected to enter next season among the serious contenders to win the AFC.
