The Johns Hopkins women’s track and field team improved their national rankings at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational in Massachusetts. Several athletes performed well in multiple events.
Isabelle Nobili achieved a personal-best time of 9:58.75 in the 3000-meter race, finishing 30th. This time places her second in the Centennial Conference and 32nd nationally. Adriana Catalano finished 44th with a time of 10:02.50, ranking third in the Centennial. Sara Stephenson finished 125th with a time of 9:47.85 in the seeded division, ranking first in the Centennial and 14th nationally.
In the 800-meter race, Annie Huang led the team, finishing 143rd with a time of 2:15.63. Lily Sheth set a personal-best time of 2:20.72, ranking seventh in the Centennial. Lauren Phillips ran the 400-meter race in 55.90, finishing 22nd, leading the Centennial Conference and ranking third nationally.
Phillips also finished 28th in the 200-meter race with a time of 25.14, ranking first in the Centennial and 14th nationally. In the 4×400, Phillips, Saussy, Arcese, and Huang finished 13th with a time of 3:52.36, ranking first in the Centennial and ninth nationally. Mackenzie Setton finished the mile in 136th place with a personal-best time of 4:56.59, ranking first in the Centennial and 15th nationally.
