Chris Jones gives high praise to Ravens after Chiefs’ dramatic Super Bowl 58 win

Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones has singled out the Baltimore Ravens as the “best team” in the NFL this season.

Jones made an appearance on ESPN’s “NFL Primetime” show following Super Bowl 58, and he took some time to touch on the Chiefs’ roller-coaster 2023 campaign. He also went on to tip his hat to the Ravens.

“We had to go to Baltimore, who I still think was the best team in the league this year,” Jones said.

The Chiefs and the Ravens had one classic back-and-forth duel in last month’s AFC title game. In the end, it was the Chiefs who had the last laugh via a 17-10 win.

In the big picture, Jones and the Chiefs took care of business in Super Bowl 58 against the 49ers. Not many defenses had much of an answer for the 49ers’ high-octane offense all season long, but the Chiefs ended up rising to the occasion in the contest. Kansas City’s defense allowed a mere two touchdown drives to the Brock Purdy-led 49ers offense, and the unit came away with a pair of takeaways.
