Sketch, New Details Released Of Suspect Wanted In Rachel Morin’s Maryland Murder

New details and a fresh sketch of Rachel Morin’s purported murderer in Maryland on the Ma & Pa Trail in Bel Air have been released by the Harford County Sheriff’s Office.

Six months after Morin’s disappearance, investigators released the new sketch as they continue their efforts to track down the woman’s killer, which includes the distribution of thousands of bi-lingual flyers in Maryland and California.

“Over the last six months detectives have conducted more than 100 interviews and followed up on more than 1,000 tips,” officials said. “Their investigation has led them to seven different states with ten federal, state, and local agencies assisting.”

They made note that “this investigation has not slowed or stalled.”

According to the sheriff’s office, they were able to finalize a sketch of the murder suspect this week, which Capt. Andy Lane, who is overseeing the investigation, explained on a podcast that was released on Monday, Feb. 12.

Detectives say that the killer may have been in the area before Morin’s disappearance in August last year.
