Tragic Fire Claims Woman’s Life, Leaves Children Homeless.

Arlington- Firefighters responded to a house fire in South Arlington to find a single family home engulfed in flames.

Family members say Brenda Weeks, 66 died after being trapped inside the residence after helping her 4 grandchildren to safety.

Helen Graham, a close family friend said a kerosene heater sitting close to a bed caused the fire that has left four children and an adult mentally handicaped male homeless. “Brenda was such a sweet woman who was left to care for her grandchildren after her daughter was killed in an auto accident. She was a stromg woman dedicated to providing for her grandkids”.
