The Orioles optioned Soto to Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday. Soto was deemed expendable as the Orioles get a couple infielders back from the injured list in Jordan Westburg (hand) and Ramon Urias (ankle). He’s put up an .862 OPS in 12 games during his time with Baltimore in 2024.
