Baltimore man allegedly shot dog walker following dispute near cemetery

WBFF (Baltimore, MD) – A verbal dispute over a dog prompted one man to shoot another man next to a cemetery in southwest Baltimore in September. Charging documents show that Tavone Lewis, 40, was driving his silver SUV in the 300 block of South Mt Olivet Lane when he got into a dispute with a 27-year-old man who was walking his dog near Mt. Olivet Cemetery on Sept. 18. The man told investigators that he had been walking his dog toward the north when Lewis nearly struck the dog with his vehicle.
