Notre Dame scored 44 offensive points in the game and racked up 466 yards per game to go with 7.2 yards per play. It was a balanced performance that saw Notre Dame rush for 265 yards and pass for 201 yards. It marked just the third time this season that Notre Dame rushed for over 200 yards and passed for over 200 yards in the same game, but it’s the second time in three games.

The offense struggled to start the season, with Notre Dame topping 30 points just once in the first four games. That side of the ball could not put consistent drives together and its inability to pass the football was a major problem.
