Sunny Mother’s Day, active and stormy weather to bring drought relief during the week

WASHINGTON (7News) — A highly amplified storm system over the Southeast U.S. will bring days of rainfall to the District, some of which could be heavy and pose a flash flooding risk by the middle to latter part of next week.

Thankfully, Mother’s Day will be dry, warm, and pleasant. There will be a mix of sun and clouds and highs around 80 degrees.
