A 29-year-old man became another statistic in Baltimore’s relentless struggle with gun violence after being shot in the leg last night. According to FOX Baltimore, the incident was detected by ShotSpotter. This technology alerted police to gunfire at approximately 9:08 p.m. on the 4400 block of Belair Road, in the heart of Northeast Baltimore.
Upon arrival, the Baltimore Police found the victim with a gunshot wound to his leg. In a brief statement, the department said that the man was subsequently moved to a local hospital and is reportedly in stable condition.
