Maryland Attorney General Anthony G. Brown announced the indictments of seven individuals in connection with a series of violent crimes allegedly committed from August 2023 through July 2024 across Anne Arundel, Prince George’s, Howard, Charles, and Montgomery counties.
The charges include participation in a criminal gang, attempted murder, armed carjacking, armed robbery, assault, and multiple firearms offenses. The alleged crimes targeted individuals leaving banking institutions including Navy Federal Credit Union, Bank of America, Capitol One, and Wells Fargo.
According to investigators, the suspects were part of two separate criminal organizations. The first group is accused of carrying out 20 robberies and attempted robberies between August 2023 and January 2024, stealing more than $155,000 from at least 34 victims.
