Baltimore City Pools Set to Open This Weekend With Changes For Summer 2025

As summer kicks off, Baltimore City’s public pools are getting ready to welcome swimmers, with some important updates for 2025 that visitors should know.

The Baltimore City Department of Recreation and Parks announced that beginning this Saturday, select city pools will open on weekends only. These include:

  • Druid Hill
  • Lake Clifton
  • Middle Branch
  • Patterson
  • Riverside
  • Roosevelt

Weekend pool hours will be split into two sessions: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Mayor Brandon Scott expressed confidence that the pools will open smoothly, though he joked about the early-season temperatures: “We’ll be ready to go, but I doubt anyone’s jumping in at 10 a.m. when it’s 57 degrees,” he said…
