Residents demand tougher juvenile crime policies after Bolton Hill carjacking

In the wake of a recent carjacking in Bolton Hill, residents are calling for stricter measures against juvenile offenders. Four teenagers were arrested after being found in a stolen car, along with an illegal firearm.

“They need to make these teens pay for their crimes just like an adult pays so should a kid,” said one resident.

On a local talk radio show, there were calls for the justice system to adopt a tougher stance on young offenders. “I guarantee you they were released with ankle monitors and sent back home even though they were involved in a carjacking,” a radio host said…
