SUN: Suspect in Owings Mills double homicide left apologetic note, signs of struggle

OWINGS MILLS, MD. (WBFF) — Police believe a Pennsylvania man accused of killing two people in Owings Mills left an incriminating note on the same day indicating that he had also may have killed his mother, according to new information in charging documents obtained by The Baltimore Sun on Sunday.

Kevin Ahn, 31, of Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania, was arrested by Northern Lancaster Regional Police in Pennsylvania on March 24 after he arrived at his estranged sister’s home in his mother’s vehicle, “acting unusual and speaking gibberish,” according to Baltimore County arrest documents.

His sister notified police of Ahn’s behavior after discovering what appeared to be a leg under clothing in the back of the car, charging documents say. Police later identified the body as Ahn’s mother, 61-year-old Hyun Ahn. Kevin Ahn had allegedly placed a handwritten letter on the dashboard that said his mother was in the car and to give her a funeral: “I lost my mind, forgive me.”…
