Man pleads guilty to fatal attack on girlfriend, sentenced to life

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A man has pleaded guilty to the first degree murder of his girlfriend, Krystal Praharnpap, and has been sentenced to life in prison, with all but 40 years suspended, according to the Baltimore State’s Attorney’s Office.

Charles Meyers will also serve five years of probation upon his release.

State’s Attorney Ivan Bates announced the plea and sentencing, emphasizing the impact of domestic violence. “This case stands as a poignant reminder of the heartbreaking toll that domestic violence takes on individuals and families. Though today’s sentence cannot restore Ms. Praharnpap to her loved ones, I sincerely hope it provides her family with a sense of solace, knowing that justice has been served and the offender held accountable,” said Bates via a press release…
