Baltimore man sentenced to 10 years for leading fentanyl ring across Maryland

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A Baltimore man has been sentenced to a decade in federal prison for leading a fentanyl trafficking operation that authorities say distributed the drug across Maryland.

Vincent Edison, 45, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Ellen L. Hollander to 10 years in federal prison for conspiracy to distribute fentanyl and possession of firearms, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland.

Federal prosecutors said Edison ran a street-level drug operation based at Winchester and North Dukeland Streets in West Baltimore, where his dealers sold fentanyl capsules daily to dozens of customers, including undercover officers…
