(WBFF) — A 39-year-old woman was shot multiple times early Sunday morning on Charles Street in Federal Hill, just feet away from a nearby officer, according to Baltimore police. A man was detained as a person of interest, but no charges have been filed.
Jenna, a local resident, expressed her concerns about safety in the area. “My friends and I like, we like to go out here at night and it’s just so scary knowing that we could be walking home and you know, we could get shot,” she said. Jenna added that violent crime in Federal Hill has worsened over the years, causing her to reconsider her outings, especially on weekends.
