Patterson Park carjacking has residents on edge

(WBFF) — A carjacking in the Patterson Park neighborhood has left residents on edge after a vehicle was stolen by three juveniles, according to police.

The incident occurred when the victim approached his car and was confronted by a suspect in a white T-shirt, while three others looked on. The suspects were last seen heading northbound on South Potomac Street.

A resident, who wished to remain anonymous, described hearing the screeching of tires around 9:15 p.m. and witnessing the aftermath. “He had pretty severe road rash.
