BALTIMORE, Md. – Baltimore residents will feel the peak of summer heat this weekend as temperatures climb into the mid-90s Sunday, with storms expected to follow into early next week.

According to the National Weather Service, Baltimore will see highs near 92°F Saturday under mostly clear skies before soaring to 96°F Sunday afternoon. Winds will remain light, but humidity will push the heat index even higher. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms develops late Sunday night, continuing into Monday.
