Old Goucher businesses feel abandoned amid rising crime and city neglect

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — In the Old Goucher community, once a bustling business hub around 25th and Saint Paul, local enterprises are now fighting for survival.

Terence Dickson, owner of Cafe Terra, a longstanding establishment in the area, lamented the decline. “We used to have ten businesses here…we’re down to about two or three,” he said.

Cafe Terra has recently become a target for thieves. “They broke out my window here I look across the street they broke into the Subway,” Dickson said about vandalism that happened earlier this month…
