Injured Bald Eagle Rescued On Gibson Island

PASADENA, Md. — A juvenile bald eagle is recovering after Maryland Natural Resources Police officers were called to Gibson Island on Saturday, Aug. 16, for a report of an injured raptor.

Authorities said the bird struck a window and was unable to fly. Officer Michael Brown responded to the scene, using protective gloves and a capture net to secure the eagle before carrying it to safety.
