KINGSTON — A Virginia resident kidnapped a 14-year-old and drove him 300 miles from Baltimore to Kingston, where he was arrested Wednesday, police said.
The man, Omar Gutierrez Sanchez, and the victim had met but were not related and did not have any prior close relationship, Kingston Police Chief Egidio Tinti said in a statement. Gutierrez Sanchez, 24, was charged with felony kidnapping, unlawful imprisonment and child endangerment.
