MPT to broadcast Maryland Cycling Classic live from Baltimore

OWINGS MILLS, MD—The Maryland Cycling Classic, America’s top one-day professional cycling race, will be broadcast live and exclusively across the region by Maryland Public Television (MPT) on Saturday, September 6.

The network will provide up to nine hours of live coverage on MPT-HD, its livestream, and the free PBS app. The broadcast will showcase the prestigious race, which for the first time will feature both men’s and women’s competitions.

The event is a UCI ProSeries international cycling race, and this year’s course will be entirely within Baltimore city limits, covering a 17.9-mile circuit. Both the men’s and women’s races will begin at the Harbor Point District’s Central Plaza and finish on East Pratt Street at the Inner Harbor…
