$500,000 Winning Powerball Ticket Sold in Maryland; Jackpot Hits $815 million

The Powerball jackpot has climbed to an estimated $815 million, the seventh-largest in the game’s history, with a cash option of $367.9 million for the next drawing on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.

While no ticket matched all six numbers in Monday’s drawing, a ticket sold at Bernie’s Liquor’s (1414 Martin Blvd #4143, Baltimore) won $500,000 in the Double Play drawing. Two tickets sold last week in Prince George’s County that won $500,000 each through the Double Play feature remain unclaimed as of August 25.
