Moore’s mission to mitigate crime without military might continues on national TV

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — It was another weekend of Gov. Wes Moore on national television as he continues to double down against the use of the National Guard in Maryland to curb violence.

While appearing on NBC’s Meet the Press, Moore echoed what he’s been saying about believing it’s not necessary to bring in the National Guard – at President Donald Trump’s urging – to help with violent crime in Baltimore. Instead, he said the partnership and effort already underway in Baltimore City have resulted in dramatic reduction in homicides and non-fatal shootings.

“We have made historic investments in local law enforcement,” Moore said while on NBC. “The work is happening.”…
