A residential fire in West Baltimore has resulted in the serious injury of one person and the displacement of four others, authorities confirmed. The fire took place around 10:45 a.m. in the 1800 block of Moreland Avenue, and the injured adult was immediately taken to a hospital, according to John Marsh, a spokesperson for Baltimore City fire, as reported by WBALTV. The cause of the blaze, which required a single-box alarm response and has since been brought under control, is still under investigation.
