BALTIMORE, MD — A Baltimore police officer is facing intense criticism after a viral video showed him nearly running over a man during a heated confrontation, then crashing his patrol SUV in what many are calling one of the most reckless displays of police road rage caught on camera.

The video, originally posted to Reddit, begins with a bystander questioning the officer’s actions.
