It’s been a beautiful weekend across Maryland. Clouds are streaming over the state this evening, ahead of a chance of rain that arrives early Monday. There are additional chances of scattered rain in the forecast this workweek and coming weekend.

Temperatures are cooling through the 50s and back into the 40s this evening, under increasing cloudiness. The sky will become completely cloudy as the evening progresses.
Wet weather becomes more widespread after 1 a.m., giving way to a damp Monday morning across the southeastern-half of our area.
Wet morning commute for some in Maryland on Monday
Rain moves into Maryland from south, to north, around midnight. Light rain expands into the immediate Baltimore metro by 4 a.m. Scattered showers are expected along the I-95 corridor and points east. The chance of a steady light rain is greatest east of the bay, across the eastern shore Monday morning.
The morning commute will be damp in many areas. Plan accordingly. Showers gradually taper-off after 11 a.m. Rain will end early in the afternoon across the eastern shore. Temperatures peak in the low to mid-60s Monday afternoon. It’ll be a much nicer second-half of the day…
