Two Baltimore men accused in unrelated homicide cases appeared before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa K. Copeland for scheduling hearings on Nov. 7 to bring their cases to trial.
Lamonte Sherman, 30, is charged with two counts each of first-degree murder and firearm use in a felony violent crime in connection to the Dec. 3, 2023, shooting deaths of Phillip Brown, 28, and Michael Saffold, 20, on the 3600 block of Greenmount Avenue.
During the hearing, defense attorney Roya May Hanna reminded the court that the case was previously postponed in January after the state’s primary witness died.
