State reveals teen charged in Towson Mall assault has juvenile record, was on probation

TOWSON, Md. (WBFF) — During a bond hearing inside Baltimore County District Court on Monday, the State revealed the 15-year-old charged in a violent assault involving a screwdriver inside Towson Town Center has been in the DJS system.

Investigators said the juvenile struck another juvenile in the top of the head with a screwdriver during an assault inside the mall on Saturday night.

During his bond hearing on Nov.10, the State revealed the juvenile suspect was on probation and under DJS supervision for burglary just last year. Other crimes he was accused of committing in 2024 included another burglary, auto theft and a robbery…
