Howard County special education paraeducator arrested at school for meeting 15-year-old student on dating app

JESSUP, Md. — A Howard County special education paraeducator was arrested inside Guilford Park High School in Jessup after he was accused of having sex with a 15-year-old student.

Wilson Nelson II, 26, was charged with third-degree sexual offense after he was accused by police of meeting the student on a dating app and bringing the boy to his car on Wednesday. The victim reported what happened to school staff, who called the police, according to a Howard County Police Department spokesperson. Nelson was arrested on Thursday.

“Detectives do not believe the two interacted at or outside of Guilford Park prior to meeting through the dating app,” Howard County police said…
