Gov. Moore announces new stem cell facility in Baltimore, aims to bring 500 new jobs

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Governor Wes Moore announced the establishment of a new stem cell facility in Baltimore, which is expected to add new jobs in the city.

The Korean biotechnology company, Nature Cell, plans to open a facility at 1401 Severn Street in Baltimore City through 2031, bringing an estimated 500 jobs in the area, Gov. Moore’s office announced on Tuesday.

Nature Cell operates in stem cell research, cosmetics, and food and beverage development and manufacturing, with plans to focus on stem cell research for knee osteoarthritis and Alzheimer’s disease, clinical trials, and the manufacturing of investigational products…
