WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — It’s been 20 years since Maryland U.S. Army veteran Ryan Kules nearly lost his life in an improvised explosive device (IED) attack that killed two of his fellow soldiers.
Now, the double amputee is marking the 20th anniversary of his “alive day” (the day he survived) by attempting to break a Guinness World Record in honor of the brothers he lost.
