Four Arrested in Connection with January Homicide on Washington Boulevard in Southern District

Baltimore City police have arrested four suspects in connection with the January 12, 2024, homicide of Deon Beasley, age 36, in the Southern District. The incident took place in the 800 block of Washington Boulevard. Officers responded to a report of a shooting and found Beasley with gunshot wounds. He was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The suspects are identified as 37-year-old Terrill Barfield, 40-year-old James Hammond, 26-year-old Lakeem Whitaker, and 32-year-old Jarvis Joyner.
