SUN | Hopkins poll: Baltimore feels safer; optimism on Key Bridge rebuild is shaky

BALTIMORE, MD (WBFF) — Despite Baltimore residents feeling safer in their neighborhoods now than they did just a few years ago, last year’s optimism about food access, government trust and affordability appears to be fading, according to a Johns Hopkins University survey released Friday.

The 2025 Baltimore Area Survey, the third annual poll conducted by Johns Hopkins University’s 21st Century Cities Initiative, surveyed more than 1,200 residents in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.
