Tysean Berry Dead In Jessup Shooting, Police Say

The victim was identified as Tysean Berry, 25, who was pronounced dead at the hospital Friday afternoon, Dec. 19, according to an update released by Howard County police at 8:30 p.m.

Police said the suspect, Christian Kinuthia, 22, of Windsor Mill, is now charged with second-degree murder and first-degree assault. He is being held at the Howard County Detention Center on no bond, police said.

The shooting happened at about 3:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, in the 8700 block of Washington Boulevard in Jessup, according to police.
