BALTIMORE, MD—A local woman is celebrating a December to remember after winning a $50,000 prize in the Maryland Lottery Holiday Raffle, marking her third significant celebration of the month.
The winner, who chose the alias Birthday Queen in honor of her December birthday, claimed her prize at Maryland Lottery headquarters on December 17. Her lucky streak began earlier this month with her birthday and continued when she won a Pick 3 midday drawing on December 17 by playing the numbers 8-8-8.
