PARKVILLE, MD—The man who was killed in a Saturday morning chain-reaction crash on I-695 in the Parkville area was an officer with the Baltimore Police Department, officials have confirmed.
James Beckham, 31, of Essex, died in the accident, which was reported at around 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 20 along the inner loop of the Baltimore Beltway at the Perring Parkway exit.
Authorities stated Beckham, who was off-duty, was the driver and only person inside a Nissan Sentra at the time of the incident. He was rushed to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased…
