No criminal charges will be filed against Baltimore police officers involved in a June 2025 shootout that left a gunman dead and a detective wounded, the Attorney General’s Office announced after a months-long independent investigation.
The shooting happened at around 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17, near Pennsylvania Avenue and Laurens Street after Baltimore Police received a tip from a private citizen about a man carrying a concealed handgun in a bag, according to the Attorney General’s Office.
