Flu cases rising in Maryland causing concerns at hospitals

WHITE OAK, Md. (DC News Now) — Flu cases are on the rise in Maryland.

Researchers at Johns Hopkins said at least seven people have died and 500 more have been hospitalized.

Dr. Aseem Balhara at Adventist Healthcare White Oak Medical Center said hospital staff have been busy treating Flu patients. He recommends that everyone get vaccinated and wear a mask, and wash their hands…
