Central District Homicide Investigation
On December 26, 2025, at approximately 8:50 p.m., Central District officers responded to the 1400 block of East Madison Street to investigation a reported shooting.
Upon arriving, officers located a 57-year-old male victim and a 34-year-old male both suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. Both victims were transported to an area hospital were the 34-year old male victim was pronounced deceased by hospital staff. The 2nd victim is listed in critical but stable condition…
