Anne Arundel County’s largest celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday will return Friday, Jan. 16, 2026 when the 38th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Awards Banquet is held at La Fontaine Bleue in Glen Burnie. The event runs from 6 to 9 p.m., with Governor Wes Moore scheduled as the keynote speaker and also among this year’s honorees.
Organizers said the banquet will recognize 17 local civil and human rights leaders from across Anne Arundel County. Tickets are $100 per person and can be purchased online at https://bit.ly/4biOniO.
