Two women have been arrested in connection with a significant theft scheme involving Ulta Beauty stores throughout Maryland, according to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office. Officials say over $11,000 in merchandise was seized in a series of recoveries linked to the alleged thefts. In an operation that spanned multiple jurisdictions, Dasjanae Teona Timmons, 23, of Jessup, and Dahmira Monya Laboo, 23, of Severn, were apprehended on charges of theft in amounts ranging from $1,500 to $25,000 and organized retail theft—both classified as felonies.
As reported by CBS News Baltimore, the initial incident occurred at the Ulta Beauty store located at 6400 Ridge Road in Sykesville. Carroll County deputies responded to a call at 1:07 p.m. on December 12, 2025, regarding a theft and were informed that suspects fled the scene in a black-colored Infinity. A subsequent search warrant led to the recovery of stolen goods valued at approximately $11,000 from the Sykesville location and other regional stores.
An officer from the Sykesville Police Department, contributing to the case, spotted a car matching the suspect’s description heading south on Route 32 towards Howard County shortly after the reported theft.
