Maryland dispensary Storehouse fined $10K following cannabis tracking violations

The Maryland Cannabis Administration (MCA) has issued a $10,000 fine to Baltimore41, LLC, which operates the Baltimore dispensary Storehouse, after an investigation found violations of the state’s seed-to-sale tracking and inventory requirements.

According to a Consent Order issued on November 26, 2025, the MCA determined that the dispensary failed to properly track cannabis inventory in the state’s Metrc system and neglected to conduct required monthly physical inventories between August and October 2024. The investigation was prompted by an inspection on October 29, 2024, which included a review of the dispensary’s point-of-sale system, Metrc entries, and video footage.

The MCA report highlighted the misconduct of a registered cannabis agent at Storehouse, identified only as W.C., who was employed as Assistant General Manager and Inventory Manager. Video evidence showed W.C. removing cannabis products from the dispensary and placing them in his personal backpack, while marking the products as “green waste” in Metrc.
