Women Arrested After Allegedly Stealing Over $11,000 in Merchandise From Maryland Ulta Stores

SKYESVILLE, Md. — Two women are facing multiple felony charges after authorities say they stole more than $11,000 worth of merchandise from Ulta Beauty stores across central Maryland.

According to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a reported theft at the Ulta Beauty store located at 6400 Ridge Road in Sykesville on Dec. 12, 2025, at approximately 1:07 p.m. Store employees reported that two suspects had just fled the scene with a large amount of stolen merchandise.

Suspects Tracked After Fleeing Scene

Before deputies arrived at the Sykesville store, dispatchers relayed that the suspects had left in a black Infiniti. Shortly afterward, an officer with the Sykesville Police Department spotted a vehicle matching that description traveling southbound on Route 32 toward Howard County.

The officer was able to obtain the Maryland temporary registration displayed on the vehicle and shared that information with investigators. Using the registration details, deputies identified a possible address associated with the vehicle in Jessup.

Search Warrant Leads to Major Recovery

Officers with the Howard County Police Department located the suspect vehicle at the Jessup address. Detectives from the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit responded to assist and obtained a search warrant for the residence and associated vehicles…
